Integrations & data sources — honestly labelled

Compliance software vendors love the word “integration”. This page tells you exactly what CompliDesk connects to, what ships at Ireland launch, and where an Irish register simply has no API — so you can evaluate the platform on what it actually does.

How to read this page

Three labels, used strictly

Live in platform

Running in the CompliDesk platform today.

At Ireland launch

Committed for the CompliDesk Ireland launch — before the AMLR applies on 10 July 2027.

Guided workflow — no API exists

The underlying register offers no API, so CompliDesk structures the manual step into a guided, evidenced workflow instead of pretending to automate it.

Didit identity verification

Live in platform

Powers KYC and KYB identity verification inside client onboarding — document checks and biometric verification, captured straight onto the client file.

OpenSanctions screening

Live in platform

Sanctions and PEP screening for clients and beneficial owners — covering the EU consolidated financial sanctions list, UN lists and PEP datasets — at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.

CRO Open Services company lookup

At Ireland launch

Pull Irish company details from the Companies Registration Office’s Open Services API during onboarding, so corporate client records start from the register rather than retyping.

VIES VAT validation

At Ireland launch

Validate EU VAT numbers for business clients against the European Commission’s VIES service as part of KYB.

goAML-compatible XML export

At Ireland launch

The STR builder exports goAML-compatible XML for your MLRO to upload to FIU Ireland’s goAML portal and to Revenue via ROS. To be clear: this is an export format, not an API integration — CompliDesk prepares and records the STR; your MLRO files it.

Stripe billing

At Ireland launch

Handles subscription billing securely once paid plans launch. During free early access there is no billing at all — no card details, no charges.

RBO extracts

Guided workflow — no API exists

The Register of Beneficial Ownership has no API — access is portal-only, via designated-person registration (form BEN3A1), at a flat €2.50 per extract. CompliDesk gives you a guided workflow instead: a before-new-client prompt, storage for the extract, a recorded comparison against client-provided information, and a logged discrepancy decision.

Not on this list? Then it isn’t an integration. A public API for building your own connections is not currently available — see the questions below.

Common questions

The questions evaluators actually ask

Does CompliDesk have a public API for custom integrations?

Not currently. The integrations on this page are how CompliDesk connects to outside data sources — a public API for building your own integrations is not available at this time. If that is a hard requirement for your firm, confirm it with us directly before committing.

Does CompliDesk file STRs with FIU Ireland or Revenue on our behalf?

No. CompliDesk builds the STR record and exports goAML-compatible XML, and tracks both submission dates and acknowledgements. Your MLRO uploads the file to the goAML portal and to Revenue via ROS — filing remains your firm’s act, as it should.

Why is the RBO listed as a workflow rather than an integration?

Because the RBO offers no API to integrate with. Designated persons access it through the rbo.gov.ie portal after registering with form BEN3A1, and pay a flat €2.50 per extract. CompliDesk structures that manual step into a guided, evidenced workflow — it cannot, and does not claim to, fetch extracts automatically.

Is there a threshold transaction reporting (TTR) integration?

No, because Ireland has no TTR regime — that is an Australian (AUSTRAC) concept. Ireland’s reporting obligation is the STR, dual-reported to FIU Ireland and Revenue, which is what the goAML-compatible export supports.
